Anderlecht boss ready to hand Man Utd HUGE advantage by fielding weakened team

Manchester United have been handed a huge boost in their pursuit of the Europa League title

as Anderlecht boss Rene Weiler admitted he may be forced to play a weakened team for the

tie at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils are locked at 1-1 with their Belgian opponents heading into the second leg

after Anderlecht struck late to secure a draw at home.

But with his side firmly in contention to win the Belgian First Division and facing Club Brugge on

Sunday, he has picked that out as a priority and admitted players will be rested against Jose

Mourinho’s men.

Weiler said ahead of the quarter-final at Old Trafford: ‘It’s harder than usual to divide our

attention between the next two matches,’ said Weiler.
