Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid have called off their engagement

Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid have reportedly called
time on their relationship.
It’s said that Johnny, guitarist with Snow Patrol, moved his
belongings out of Courteney’s house in Malibu and flew back
to Britain shortly before Thanksgiving. The pair, who’ve been together for two years and engaged
since June 2014, apparently fought to keep their relationship
together but that they couldn’t reconcile their differences,
according to TMZ.
It’s said that a difference in attitude to fame was a particular
sticking point, with Johnny preferring to keep a low profile
and Courteney being more comfortable in the spotlight.

The pair became engaged in June 2014 after six months of
dating.
They hadn’t set a date for a wedding, but it was thought that
their mutual friend Ed Sheeran was lined up to sing at the
do.
Johnny had involved Courteney’s daughter Coco in his
proposal to her mum, and Courteney had spoken about how
involved Coco would be in the wedding.
Hand us a tissue someone, please. *sniff*
