Bacca tips Messi or Ronaldo to win Goal 50

The Colombia star was delighted to be named among the 50 best players on the planet and believes either the Real Madrid or Barcelona man will win the annual award

AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca has tipped Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo to win the 2015 Goal 50, which will be announced in full this Friday.

The Colombian was included in Goal's annual list of the world's 50 best players from the past 12 months after helping former side Sevilla win a second successive Europa League title back in May and making an impressive start to his San Siro career.

Bacca, 29, was delighted to have been included in the race for the prestigious prize but he believes that either Barcelona legend Messi or Real Madrid icon Ronaldo will take first place when the final positions are revealed.

"I’m happy to receive this award, for which I thank God. Hopefully I can continue to play like this," Bacca told Goal.

"Messi is the best footballer in the world. Ronaldo is also an incredible player. Messi and him are a step above the others at the moment. It’s a two-horse race between those two."
